Cookie Martinez

Cookie Martinez is a local artisan bakery that sculpts, by hand, using mostly local, organic ingredients with Latin fare. DeFloured

This cleverly named bakery has been making exclusively gluten-free and nut-free sweet and savoury fare at Toronto farmer’s markets for some time. The baking duo, Krista and Chris, aim to make tasty food without restricting customers who have food allergies or limitations. Everything they bake utilizes various gluten-free flours and local (70% organic) ingredients.

Earth & City

This small artisan producer makes all vegan and mainly-raw food inspired by local, fair-trade and seasonal flavours utilizing organic whenever possible. They value and embody the importance of sourcing ethically, supporting small food vendors and eating whole, local and live plant-based foods. In all they do they support sustainability, equity and nutrition.

Evelyn’s Crackers

Evelyn’s Crackers is a small artisan cracker company based in Toronto utilizing heritage grains grown organically in Madoc, Ontario. As a husband and wife team, chef and baker Dawn and Ed, believe that eating local and organic foods have huge health and farming benefits and have based their business, named after their young daughter, around this philosophy. Alli’s Bakery, named after the baker herself, began in 2004 and has made a reputation for making delicious treats - specialty breads (gluten-free options), savouries, cookies and her specialty cinnamon buns - with a smile!
